Guest guest
Don't mean to be nit-picky here--and Sue will correct me if I'm wrong--but I believe Sue and family are going to St Louis to see Dr Dobbs, not to Iowa City. Still, the RMDH in St Louis is a great idea. And most hotels around large medical centers will give you a " hospital rate " . And you won't regret the long trip. I wanted to mention that your number of kids is actually fine for the Mc House.. it's totally geared to families. They have suites for families.. check out the pictures: http://www.uihealthcare.com/depts/ronaldmcdonald/gallery.html There's a playroom with toys, a playground/playset in the back yard. Just passing it along. We have usually stayed in a hotel because of only being there one night at a time.. but we have stayed at the house once. If you do stay in a hotel, be sure to mention that you are in town for a medical appointment and ask for a hospital rate. It makes quite a difference. Here's a link to info on hotels in the area: http://www.icccvb.org/wheretostay.asp Here's info on traveling there for appts from the VH site if you haven't seen it already: http://www.vh.org/pediatric/patient/orthopaedics/clubfeet/travel.html Best of luck! > We'll be coming in from the Houston, Tx area.
