Yep, it's Sphere USA, where you are strapped into a clear plastic ball with some other people & get to roll down a hill at 30mph! Doesn't that sound like a blast?!? You also can do the Aqua Ride. You aren't strapped in for that, but there are several gallons of water in the ball. The really cool thing is that if you puke, you get a free t-shirt! Yay! Here is the website: http://www.sphereusa.com/I'm not making this up; the local paper had an article about it. It's already very popular in Europe. Guest guest
Rose It's been a while since I puked on myself!! Unfortunately, I am sure that hurling ball, no matter how much fun it would be, is on the list of no no's for me! Between my ruptures & my new shunt I'm sure to end up in the ER! Hey, I made it through a month without ending up in the ER! Do I get a gold star? I had another Cytoxan treatment today. Been up 24 hours & no end in sight. Ain't iv prednisone a trip? If only I could put the mental energy into housework I'd be all packed and cleaning the frig. I had a bladder infection according to the test although I didn't feel a thing. I got to pee in a cup & on my hand twice today and she gave me a prescription for Cipro. Although my dose is still 400 she did cut me back from every 4 weeks to every 5!! The little advances mean the world sometimes. I'm way behind in email so if I missed anybodies birthday hope it was a good one. I mentioned the heart palpitations to her & she asked when. I tried to trace it back & told her the week after chemo. She got defensive & said chemo couldn't have caused it. I mentioned the tenderness in my abdomen from the stomach to the gall bladder/liver? area & she told me to see my primary. She had told me once when I first saw her that I had slight enlargement of the spleen so I thought she might at least feel on it. But noooooooooo. I should be getting another mri next month & I'm crossing my fingers I can get off the iv chit! End of steroid ramble #1! Extra steroid pill #2 getting ready to kick in soon.LOL Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan - 265 pairs needed by 9/15/07 http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@... Guest guest
, some people compare being in that ball to a hamster or gerbil ball. But the rodents get to stay upright & control the speed! I'm with you; I have never even ridden any carnival rides that go upside down. My daughter Ginny used to love those loop-de-loop roller coasters & she'd say, "Mom, it goes so fast you don't even know you're upside down." I thought about that recently when a roller coaster at 6 Flags or somewhere got stuck with a bunch of people hanging upside down at the top of the loop! I hope you can stay cool today. It's supposed to be a few degrees cooler here for the next few days. Ramblin' Rose Moderator A merry heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22 Tease your brain--play Clink! Win cool prizes!
