Could you please give me the name of the medication that works better than immodium? My PCP has me taking LOPERIMIDE but that is just the active ingredientin immodium. There are also many different kinds of irritable bowel syndrome drugs that work well too. Some docs are hesitant to prescribe those because they make it appear that you have IBS. Gobo, if I was going that frequently I would be VERY concerned about dehydration. Since we are practically switch sisters, at this point in time I know there is no way that you could be making up that much fluid loss.
