Hello everyone-

It has been a while since I have posted. This motherhood role is

tough to get the hang of. is 6 weeks old and getting better

at a routine--however her colic is getting the best of her. BTW, my

pediatrician thinks the casts might of added to her colic since she

can't raise her legs up to expel gas. Have any of you with a colic

baby had a problem with this? Any advice out there for colic

babies. I do the tummy drops, massage, and gripe water. And just

recently I changed bottles. It seems to be getting better but she

goes in bouts.

Anyway, since I have been out of the loop, I want to let you all know

I read most of the emails, but sometimes it is tough when I open my

email it says 300 messages or so to read. Yikes!! In any case, I

want to say how wonderful I think the three wishes project went--I am

bummed because I did not have the opportnity to add our names to the

list. And Naomi--how wonderful that they are coming to your town.

So I have a question for you. was suppose to get her

tenetomy this past Monday, but her doctor at Shriners was so

impressed by her progress that he wanted to put on another set of

casts--then see her progress next week. He said we could possibly

avoid the tenetomy altogether--and go into the brace. Has anyone had

this experience? I am just worried about a relapse later in life, bu

I guess thre are no guarantees. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Krishna

PS check out her before and after pics--Under -- I didn't

post her pic from this week--camera ran ou of batteries
