Biopsy at town?

Hi eveyone...we just recieved feed back from Abby's town

visit. Talk about expanding a can of worms. It is now thought that

Abigail not only has a metabolic myopathy but also a muscular

dystrophy.

Here is the thing...they are calling for the muscle biopsy to be

done at town University in Washinton DC. While this is great

by way of location...I have yet to hear of anyone having one done

there where they were looking for a metobolic myopathy. So, have any

of you had a biopsy done at town? I must say that I like the

plan for before and after care, and the fact that no fasting will be

involved. In addition there will not be needless testing performed

to suit the facility. (Such as the spinal tap some places are fond

of.)

We want a biopsy done, as we feel it will differenciate the

possibilities...however we are only going to do this once and want

it done right.

I am sure you all know what I mean.

In addition Abigail is being given a medical alert bracelet. This is

the first time it was ever brought to our attention. And I can not

believe I didn't think of it myself.

Please, all thoughts are welcome.
