Thank you so much for all your love and understanding. It's

interesting.... I was so ready for it to be on my birthday....I

haven't really been bad since the letdown, but I did have a bundt

cake in the cupboard that I had been wanting to make (you remember

me....the one with the 2 year old oven with less than 12 hours total

of usage) So last night I made the cake....it is yummy but I didn't

go crazy ....Randy and I each had a small piece. And even stranger,

I've been craving BBQ ribs....but when I look at the menu, I end up

splitting a chicken salad with Randy or having a bowl of soup. Today

we went to Joee's wrestling tournament down in Long Beach, we

stopped and got him a subway on the way.... again....BBQ sounded

yummy but I ended up wanting a salad when I got to the counter. I

think my brain is conditioned to really desire the better foods. I

thought about when I DID cheat, I had a gingerbread latte at

starbucks....but it was half caf with non fat milk. That was a

luxury . I haven't even wanted caffine....The day of cancelled

surgery, I did drown my sorrows in a slim cherry at Dennys... it's

diet coke with a shot of cherry .... anyway....on the way back to

the desert from Long Beach, I checked my phone and found a

message.... UCLA offered to bump me to the 13th!!!! A week

earlier!!!! So I won't hold my breath, but I called and left a

message saying YES!!!! I may even make Las Vegas at Christmas to see

my son!!!! We are taking the motorhome and I haven't cancelled the

reservations.... I think I can do it. Ron and Gordy I am so proud of

your bravery and hard work! This has been such a drama for me and I

hate drama!!!! I'm the one who likes routine, stbility, and peace.

This roller coaster ride has not turned off since I got on!

Girlfriends too many to list, THANK YOU for giving me such

encouragement! So now I won't be wearing that tierra and my birthday

suit on my birthday! Hugs! I need to get to bed....it's back to Long

Beach tomorrow for the second day of the tournament! Hugs and Love!
