Guest guest
What is onderland, after you lose 100 or when you are down below two hundred? Barbara, I can hardly believe it. I am about 6 weeks behind you. I am 5'2 " . How did you decide on a goal wt? I put mine at 170 because I can not believe in more. You always inspire me. Are you exercising a lot? What kind? I am still suffering some pain from those hernias and I can't walk for very long without sitting down. I sit a lot. They moved me to Stage III today. Yea. I have been losing about a pound a day since the surgery and I now weigh 243. That is about 13 pounds down after getting rid of the water. Good for all of you who have lost. Donna, yes, the picture is great, yesterday and today. You remind me of me with all those little children behind you. You need another picture with them with you today. Guest guest
Hi Lilka, Onederland is when you get below two hundred pounds! And I cannot wait to get there. The lowest weight I can remember is 140 and I know I always felt like I could lose 10-15 lbs. then, which is why I picked the goal weight I did. Dr. Fisher said he would like to see me at 130-140, so I feel pretty good about saying 125-130. I wish I was exercising more. It was so much easier to fit everything in before I went back to work. So now I just try to do the little things. Take a walk everyday. Park further away when I go to a store or the mall. I am mostly walking and trying to talk myself into swimming again. I know it will feel fantastic. My excuse at the moment is that I dont have a swimsuit that fits, but I think I am going to have to just buy a new one and get myself back in the pool. Congrats on your weight loss and I hope that the pain from the hernias will subside too so that you can get around better. I am 8 weeks out and have lost 48.2 lbs since surgery (including the 8.3 I gained in water weight) and 74.4 since orientation in July. To look at those numbers just amazes me. I know I have lost a lot and I feel better and things are easier to do and my energy really is starting to come back - but I am still have body image problems. When I look in the mirror I still see the same person I did 74 lbs ago. Hopefully that will chance in time. And just to add a milestone - I shopped at Old Navy this weekend!!!!
