Way to go with the approval !!! I will be going up against Cigna very

soon.

I live in N.Carolina and have Cigna (HMO). I, too, have quite a lengthy

document

pulled together. If you have any hints, I'd sure love to hear them !

I have been silent hear, but had to share. I was denied twice.

Yesterday, I had a teleconference with Cigna's greivance committee and

they started off by telling me that they were impressed with how

thorough my appeal was. I had a good ten plus minutes of notes to go

over, (processes that I have gone through, criteria: bmi,

co-morbids and diet history) but I didn't get to finish, because they

heard enough to convince them. One nurse said that I should be

proud of myself for making it so far. WOW. They called me five

minutes later and told me that they overturned the denial.

This is too cool. AWESOME timing, because my husband and I are

leaving for a vacation in Amsterdam Tuesday night. I was hoping that

I would know before we left, but I knew the same day. WOO HOO, thank

you God.

I'll be having the Lap DS in September or October. My profile on AMOS
