Donna:

You reminded me of many happy times like that in my life. Thank you

for sharing such heart warming happenings in your life. These things

make all the work and sacrifice worth it all.

Congratulations to you! And Merry Christmas!

> Hello Everyone

> I love Christmas and people and I am truly a giver, but today was

special and I was a receiver and it felt wonderful. When I first

started my journey for WLS it was not with Kaiser. I was with a

private doctor that I had been with for 18 years and just love her, I

was part way through the journey when our Union switched or Insurance

to Kaiser, so I took all the information and showed my health

problems and all my efforts to my new PCP at Kaiser in Aug. and the

WLS journey with Kaiser began. As of today I am 2 pounds from my

personal goal, and I decided to go back and thank the doctor who

actually talked me into having this done. I was really not sure I

wanted it done since it was my 14th, life hasn't been so easy. She

showed me how in so many ways my life would be better and boy it is.

So today I went back to her office with gift and card in hand to give

her my many thanks. When I asked could I see her the receptionist

asked did I have an appointment, I said no. They asked

> what I needed, I need to see Dr. _____ (not sure if I should say

the name) anyways I have a gift for her. We'll take it and give it

to her, no I want to give it to her and I explained. They went back

to her office and she came out to the waiting room so fast, she

hugged me, then hugged me again, we talked about every thing about

the WLS, she hugged me again, I told her how much better my health

was. I then told her I thought she has helped so many people and I

truly believe she is such a wonderful person and how much she helped

me. I handed her her present and card, she hugged me again and said

seeing you and your appreciation has been the best Christmas present

I could ask for. We hugged again and we both went in different

directions with love in our heart and smiles on our faces. Then I

drove over to my neighbors who live behind me, their a very old

little couple in their 80's, the little lady came to the door looked

through the peep hole and said I don't want none. I said

> it's Donna I have a little gift for you and your husband, she open

the door and hugged me and started laughing then said I didn't know

who you were I thought you were selling something. She hugged me

again and told me how wonderful I looked and when I left we were

smiling, and had love in our hearts. It was a wonderful day. Merry

Christmas to you all. Donna

How wonderful is that. There are still truely special people in this

world that make it all worth wild. You've been very fortunate to run

into some of them. Many congrats and praise for being on this

journey. It's not easy, and you've shown that with a little love in

your heart, things can go thr right way.
