Guest guest
Hi Marci, I'm new to the group and have been reading through the messages and although lately have been thinking mostly about my son Teddy's shoes and why they aren't working, I have also been thinking about Halloween costumes too!! I have a 2 year old daughter as well as Teddy (he's 3 momths) and was trying to think of a duo themed costume like Pooh and Piglet or Princess and Donkey (since my daughter loves Shrek). However, I wasn't thinking about the shoes so much, just thought I'd make big booties to fit over them with slots on the inseams that could velcro shut. I think your candy corn idea is cute, very original, can't remember the last time I saw a candy corn costume - way to think outside the box Respectfully, Carly (Teddy 5-31-05 bcf) > I know Mollie will only be 5 months old, but I've been thinking of cute > Halloween costumes that will work with the brace. Guest guest
Marci, Not too early, especially if you are going to make something. The candy corn sounds just adorable! And it is never too early to dress them up, Sammy was only 1 month last year and he got to go trick or treating with his big sister -- he was SpiderMan, the cutest thing you ever saw. > I know Mollie will only be 5 months old, but I've been thinking of cute > Halloween costumes that will work with the brace. Guest guest
Check out the Lillian Vernon catalog (online). Last year my son was still in his shoes 23 hours/day- they have some infant costumes that are more like dresses. He was Superman but I remember a really cute Chili Pepper costume and some others that we dress-like. Good Luck Stacie marci21175 wrote: I know Mollie will only be 5 months old, but I've been thinking of cute Halloween costumes that will work with the brace. Guest guest
Also look at babystyle.com and babycenter.com. They have some infant " bunting " costumes that I think would work well with an FAB. We purchased the butterfly costume at babystyle for Lily (who will be 7 months old then). Guest guest
Check out 'The Childrens Place', super cute costumes, reasonable prices. Grace was a pumkin last year and was also in the brace 23/7 at the time. The cosutme had velcro and undid atthe crotch. Not sure if you have the stores in the US but you can order online from their site... www.childrensplace.com & Grace > I know Mollie will only be 5 months old, but I've been thinking of cute > Halloween costumes that will work with the brace.
