Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you guys know that I had my surgery on Dec 14th

came home the next day and went back to work on Dec 22nd. Everything

went well but the only struggle I have is taking my vitamins. I had

my WLS through El Camino Hospital and they are strict on just taking

liquid or chewable forms of meds/vitamins. I've deprived myself of

taking any multi, calcium citrate, and protein shake because it

makes me gag! And in result I feel like Im lacking energy...(duh!) I

went in at 192lbs and weighed myself this morning at 175lbs. Is that

too much weight loss in just 8 days??? I called my dr. and she said

to try the liquid form of multi vitamin, and the calcium citrate...I

went to the vitamin store and was shocked on how much this stuff

was! My best friend went through Kaiser and she takes all the pill

form of vitamins and even the pepcid. Oh and my liquid zantac costs

me $75! Why cant I be taking the same thing she is? She has had no

problem what so ever! Oh and the protein shake....its alright but I

force that down too. I know I went into this surgery knowing that

this is what I had to do...but its sooo hard to taking it and

tasting all the nasty huge wafer vitamins! I feel like I want to

take the chance and take the pills...then I will be more on top of

it and probably feeling so much better with energy. What should I

do?
