One surgeon said it could be due to a Vitamin A deficiency -- just in the

process of figuring out what to do/clear it up/prevent a reoccurence. Just

wanted you to know you're not alone and I've heard of others with it, as

well.

Hi, Kris: Does it come and go, especially in the heat/humid weather? The

reason I ask is that I was diagnosed with rosacia (this was as a pre-op, not

caused by the surgery) and it flares up at times (not really any more or less

after the surgery, actually). It's kind of like tiny pimple/bumps and/or a

rash-like redness on my forehead, all over the face and sometimes on the

neck...

Did your labs detect a vit A deficiency? I'm just curious. My three month

labs came back fine for Vit A and I don't think there's a link between vit A

deficiency and rosacia (IF indeed that is what you're experiencing). I've

used Metrogel to keep it in check. My dermatologist just gave me something a

little stronger, but I haven't filled it yet. If you're interested, I could

look up the name on the prescription for you. :)
