Guest guest Posted November 21, 2004 Report Share Posted November 21, 2004 i am not a doctor but my educated guess would be that psyllium would not help delayed gastric emptying psyllium is a " bulk forming laxative " reglan, erythromycin, and propulsid might help with gastric emptying propulsid you have to buy from other than the US we have not tried this one our pediatric GI dr. said he has never had any problems with it however our pediatrician --who has helped lauren tremendously-- was uncomfortable with it's use i would find an awesome pediatric gi dr if you haven't already and bug him until things get better. lisa if you live in minnesota i can give you a recommendation on a good gi dr.
