Guest guest
From what we have read and heard, it is most commonly seen and forms around 16-18 weeks. We were curious because had other issues, and we were trying to figure out if they could have all arose at the same developmental time. US ? I remember being told by the Perinatologist during my US that CF was " determined " in the first trimester, when the limbs were forming. I also remember reading somewhere that Dr. Ponseti states that it actually happens later. Is that correct? If so what gestation period does it occur? As early as ? to as late as ? I have read some archives that some found out as early as 11wks via US to as late as 30+. I was just wondering what Dr. P point of view is. Thanks for all your imput. Guest guest
Dr Ponseti told us the 2nd trimester. In our case, I had a full scan and amnio at 19 weeks and they checked specifically for clubfoot among other things, it was definitely not visible then. But I have heard of most diagnosis happening around 16-20 weeks. Moss STEPS CHARITY www.steps.org.za Re: US ? From what we have read and heard, it is most commonly seen and forms around 16-18 weeks. Guest guest
In our case, the cf was spotted at our 17w ultrasound. Still waiting for the baby to come, though, so I can't say for sure yet that it is cf. -- DS 5/02 EDD 9/5/

After alot of research and visiting this site we were very happy with Dr. H/ who we found and all the knowledge and support from this site and Dr. Ponsettii's site.
