Guest guest
Co Q10 is not usually covered by insurance, because it is over the counter. We pay about 26 US dollars a month. We purchace Gracies through www.epic4health.com, she uses the 100mg chewables. If I remember right the cash price for Carnitor is about 40 US dollars. They did just come out with a generic form wich will be much cheeper. Our insurance gives us a break if we use generic, so Grace is on her first month of the generic form. We have had not noticed any difference between the name brand and the generic. Best wishes Try the NEW version of MSN Messenger available - it's FREE! Guest guest
Keely, My eight year old daughter has been on cocktail (CoQ10, carnitor,C,E and riboflavin) for almost two years. Our insurance company declined to cover the CoQ10 but would pay for the carnitor...so long story short...we now have it covered as a carnitor compound, and get it by mail, through the Village Green (an epharmacy) out of Bethesda, Md. We pay a $25 monthly copay, and by compounding everything together it is less pills to swallow. (They also do liquid compounds.) It took a good three months before we saw any difference in her. It does help her with fatigue. We have also noticed she has been much less sick, she has not even had the flu since on compound, and rarely runs a fever. We are not sure if this is a direct result of compound, but it seems like an odd coincidence. If your insurance will cover carnitor, there is a good chance you can coverage this way. Good luck, Judy You can email me direct if you want more info JimnJudyWeeks@...
