Guest guest
: Have you spoken with the program dietician lately? I know all of our caloric needs are different, but 950 calories is kind of drastic. I know that I work out hard 6 days a week, and that I'm a man who is taller than you, but my caloric intake is much greater. Dr. Fisher actually advised me to INCREASE my caloric intake to MAINTAIN my body. I am now out of the weight-loss phase, and I have to eat more to maintain. I know. Increasing caloric intake is terrifying! (INCREASE intake does not mean OVEREAT, but adding one ounce of protein per meal). I've maintained my weight for 1 year, 3 months so that is a bit of a miracle. It's not much more food, but I track everything on fitday.com so I know how many calories I'm taking in and how many I'm putting out in exercise. Get educated on your dietary/caloric needs. With that information, you'll know exactly what you have to do to maintain. Remember, this is not a diet. It's a life-style. It's your life. You're so worth the effort! Guest guest
There isn't no set calorie intake, just 4 to 6 oz meals, 3 a day. Remember though at 2000 calories you'll only maintain, I actually gain if I go over 1600 calories, so find where it is for you. To lose I must eat no more than 1200 calories, but no less than 1000 or I to get weak, dizzy and so tired. We're all different, find the calories that work for your body. I hope this helps. Guest guest
, When you register, you answer questions like your height, weight, etc and your nutrional goals. Then you go to reports (run the appropriate report) and it will tell you how many calories you burn in a day. Based on that, you know how much to consume to balance out you input. Then you can adjust what your eating to lose a couple of pounds or maintain. Normal weighted people know this stuff without having to log their food. I, however, need this tool to keep me honest about what I'm eating. It's been a big help to me. Francisco Hi everyone > > > > > > > > > > Im doing really well getting back on track. Guest guest
, could it be what KIND OF calories you eat? You may gain if all those calories are carbs, but not if they are mostly protein. But, then, I shouldn't talk. I'm terrible at actual calorie counting. My goal is actually eating the right kinds of foods and avoiding the wrong stuff. Guest guest
, could it be what KIND OF calories you eat? You may gain if all those calories are carbs, but not if they are mostly protein. But, then, I shouldn't talk. I'm terrible at actual calorie counting. My goal is actually eating the right kinds of foods and avoiding the wrong stuff. (plenty of vegies & protein, a little fruit and maybe a little high fiber grains, if I'm doing right by myself) --Sandi H. Guest guest
Today I did better. Exercise: 50 minutes(3miles) BREAKFAST: protein bar MIDAM: decaf coffee WATER LUNCH:hardboiled egg, string cheese, lite and fit yogurt WATER MID PM: really hungry...string cheese WATER DINNER:chicken stewed in tomatoes(picadillo),1/2 cup pinto beans (frijoles de olla,no fat) Before Bed: sf mocha cappuchino(70 cal) So my total calories for the day is approx 1041. Its hard to really calculate things like the picadillo because its not in the fitday archives. So I did the amount of pork and 1/2 cup stewed tomatoes. Its really like 4 tomatoes, garlic, onion put in the blender and you cook the pork in that. Hi everyone > > > > > > > > > > Im doing really well getting back on track.
