Guest guest
Thanks for the info, I will try to find it. Yes she does have a speech therapist to work with her. She has been in therapy for about a year now for 1/2 hour sessions, once a week. At first she really did not show any improvment with therapy, but it is slowly emerging. We are hearing new words everyday, although many are hard to understand. Also we noticed that she talks much more at home in her "comfort zone", but this is starting to get better also. I was amazed today when she asked a receptionist at the doctors office for a sticker. As far as signing goes, it has been the same as her speech. In the beginning she only knew "more" and "please", this was about it for at least 6 months. She is still slow in using the signs but she understands many of them. Just within the past few weeks she has started using signs for various things. (by the way she is 2 1/2 if you did not know) Find files on your PC instantly with the new MSN Toolbar Suite beta – FREE!
