Guest guest
Jackie, I have them also from the prednizone, but I know of no way to get rid of them. Now, my blood bruises will finally fade a little, but you can still see them. My skin tears soooooo easily and it almost always gets infected and then by the time I get it cleared up, it leaves a big scar! So frustrating........and I hate to be seen like that. I am always afraid someone might think my hubby beats me because I always have about a dozen or more spots at all time. :-) Sorry I could not help................but you are not alone in this. Guest guest
It's from your meds and they will wear away. Try not to get any new ones. They take weeks to go. I have 7 playful dogs that are always tearing up my arms. Rickmydynasty40 wrote: Hi thereAfter taking prednisone for a year I have these ugly brown spots from skin tears and blood bruses. Guest guest
Hi, Jackie! I have ugly brown spots, but I think they are just plain ol' "liver" spots. When I was on Pred, I bruised easily, but they healed & didn't leave any marks. Marla sell Kay & I know she has talked about products to cover the facial redness & lesions; maybe she knows something for this. Calling Marla! We need your expertise! Guest guest
After taking prednisone for a year I have these ugly brown spots from skin tears and blood bruses The best solution I've found is the MSM cream. Vitamin C and CoQ10 also help with skin issues. I had a friend that has been on the prednisone as well as blood thinners for years, and his skin just tears at the slighest touch. He started using the MSM cream on the spots, and within 2 days, they were gone. No kidding, gone!! The PUREMSM.com site has it for order. TracieSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
