Guest guest
Hey Francisco, I am publicly declaring here that I totally respect you and your emotional honesty and integrity! I am in awe of the way you aren't even lying to yourself about your feelings, let alone sharing them with us. Yeah, it will be sad to see Zach again, and that's okay. I guess the closest comparison I can draw from my own life is when I remember my previous husband, who died of sleep apnea more than ten years ago. There are times when remembering him still makes me sad, and that's okay. When someone has been that big a part of your life for that long, it's okay to mourn the loss. Hell, I'd even go so far as to say it is NOT okay to let yourself feel the loss. Doesn't mean that going on with your life wasn't the right thing to do, because I absolutely believe it was. It just hurts sometimes, as you know. I know, I'm not saying anything you didn't already know, but I'm saying it anyway. I just hope you hear the caring behind what I'm saying. Keep being you, and thank you for letting us see your heart. BTW, dare I ask (I dare, I dare, even though you don't have to answer if it's invading your boundaries) about your new email address? manisodream wrote: >Hello everyone: > >My ex, Zach and I are finally in the process of severing all the >financial ties that have bound us for 11 years. Guest guest
Francisco Many need to find the balance, because life does get hard and food won't fix it. We must go on and keep our love for ourself and our boundaries and happiness will be there. You take care. All will go fine. The townhouse will go on the market in May for sale in June.Once it's sold, it will really be over. It's totally over in my heart, but to have the paperwork to back it up will add finality to it all. We've settled all the major stuff, and he's coming to visit the baby (our kitty) at my place tonight. It's a sad milestone to acknowledge, but as Pastor Penny said, "Let God's light enter through the wound. The blessing is right next to the suffering, but you have to look for it." This suffering has taught me lessons about love and life. It's up to me to listen to the lessons the Universe, God, the Divine is trying to teach me.And it's so nice that my feelings and all these painful lessons have not had an effect on my exercise and eating. We really can balance it out. I once thought it was impossible, but I'm living proof that life goes on and overeating doesn't need to be part of the equation.Francisco Donna JordonDSJordon@... Yahoo! Guest guest
Thanks Eleanor! I hear your caring. And I agree. It's necessary to feel our feelings and not turn to food to stuff them down.
