Hi Everyone - I'm back in 'the process' again after a year-long hiatus. I had to drop out of the program last year for financial reasons, but now, as of this morning's visit with my PCP at Kaiser Santa Clara I'm back in the running, so to speak. I had a long teary talk with my doc this morning and we both agreed that it would be a good time for me to get back into the loop and get this done! What a great doc I have! I am a kidney transplant patient and gained a ton of weight over the past 16 years (since 1990 when I had my second transplant). I'm SO tired of going through life with the breaks on and, seeing as how I now have Diabetes and high blood pressure I think it's about time. I'm also turning 50 in May so that has something to do with it too!!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone, especially your stories about your journeys.

Welcome back ,

It is good to see that you have decided to come back into the fold.

I guess when that magical number comes around you start thinking about things like that. My 50th birthday is one month after yours.
