Guest guest
Hello? Is anyone out there? Is it just my computer acting up, or have there been NO posts since Donna Jordon @ 7:35? Did everyone go to bed early or what? I tried to go to the Chat Room at 9pm but was unable to get that to work either.

Guest guest
Hi Soy, it is a quiet nite, huh? I'm at work. Can't do the chat thing because there is a firewall on the work computer. Hope you find another fine way to pass your evening! Laurie __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hi Judy, You're not alone. I think everyone kind of gets caught up in the holiday "to do" stuff and overdoes it and then can't seem to find any energy on reserve to post. At least that is how I have felt. I am able to find a bit of energy to get a little shopping done here and there and then I get wiped out. I check in and read the posts every day, but it has been a long time since I have actually posted a message. I know this can be a depressing time of year for alot of people anyway, but for those of us with chronic illnesses, I think it can somedays become a little overwhelming. My dad keeps telling me to think positive, and most days I do, but some days I feel like yelling at him and telling him he has no idea what he's talking about because he has not walked (or shuffled) in my shoes. I am discovering that when the pressure drops in the weather (for storms) I become extremely weak and exhausted. I haven't even had the energy to write in my daily medical diary in several weeks...and forget me trying to remember what I did in that time and go back and try to catch up...the memory is too wishy washy. I was sorry to hear about your terrible experience with your eye surgery. I hate it when hospital staff of all people treat you like your just a number to them and don't even acknowledge that you are in the room and are speaking to them. That is so unprofessional the way they treated you, and I wish your hubby would have catered to you the way you needed to be when you arrived home. I hope things are going better for you today. I'm glad you received good news at your post op appt. Try to keep your spirits up by doing things you love to do and know that many people are thinking of you and wish the best for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers as are the rest of my "Sarc Family". Hugs, in UT It surre has been quiet around here lately. I'm feeling down today. It sure has been quiet around here all week. Went for my post op check today everything was fine. Good to have some good news.I don't know about you but this is a bad time of year for me. I hope someone will check in and post. I feel lonely and down. Have been waking up with terrible back pain again. it's about a 9 out of 10. I am just sick of being sick. I know that there of lots of members who also are not doing well right now. I pray for all of us every day. It's strange how someone can have lots of intelectual insight as to why I feel this way but it doesn't stop the feelings. I wish that there was affordiable counseling around here but what is available would cost me $50.00 an hour. Which is beyond what I could afford. I went for 5 sessions earlier this year and had to stop because we ran out of money.Stu znc Grannylunitic miss reading your posts. Anyway hope to hear from others soon, I'm so very down and lonely. Has anyone else felt like they wee alone in the middle of a crowd? Judy in PA
Guest guest
Judy, I hope you're feeling better. We all have those awful days. Either people are sick or busy with holiday stuff or both! It takes everything out of us this time of year just to do any kind of preparations for the holidays. At least that's whats true for me and my family also has two birthdays this month...and they deserve to be celebrated just as much as everybody else's despite being at a very busy time of the year. I miss hearing from Stu and , too...check in you guys! hugs S."rjbasso@..." wrote: It surre has been quiet around here lately. I'm feeling down today. It sure has been quiet around here all week. Guest guest
Hello! Long time no type here. I moved (again). This time I took a handicap friendly apartment. I hate giving this dumb disease control but I finally realized it would be better for me in every way. I guess denial keeps creeping into my head. I can sit in my wheelchair and wash dishes and all the doorways are really wide. I don't have doors on the bedroom but it's not where I sleep anyway. LOL I have one of those sleep apnea? tests tomorrow night and we're expecting snow. I sure hope they're wrong. My docs want to keep me on Cytoxan for the rest of my life & I'm not amused. I have some more digging to do but they claimed I have tried other treatments that didn't work but they have me mixed up with one of the other 4 or 5 patients they have. I even checked with my mother who keeps notes about my doctor visits. She was a secretary all her working life and still keeps records. I can't read all the 1700 emails I am behind in here but I will try to keep in touch more often. I've been falling alot lately but at least I have a ramp here to get outside and get some walking in when the weather isn't too bad. Happy Birthday to everyone I missed during my trip down DE-Nial.Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@... Guest guest
Merry Christmas , It sounds like a really nice apartment and I am happy that you are able to get around better in it. I have been putting off a sleep apnea test all year. I hope yours goes well. Most people say they sleep a lot better with a c-pap machine. I guess that would actually help your mood, too, I would think. Hang in there, . We all go through those stages where they want to change or tweek our treatments. We get used to that and then something else happens and we have to change again. At this time of year you may need to add some B12 to your supplements because of the added stress on our bodies because of this cold weather. Are you taking MSM and Milk thistle? Take extra good care of yourself because you deserve it. Yeah, I've been mixed up with a couple other Solbergs in my life, too. Once it was at the bank and they deposited MY $1,000 into another 's bank account and I had all kinds of overdrafts. Keep after them until they straighten it all out. I am sending you a big cyber-hug and warming you up with it. Take care and let us know how it all turns out. hugs S. wrote: Hello! Long time no type here. I moved (again).
