I am not saying this is the case for all Mito kids...that is clearly just not true. My point was only that on the MitoAngels list that we have discussed a number of times, about the commonalities of ages and with the 10 yr olds if it is puberty related. At the Mito conference I went to, the mito docs mentioned several times that puberty was very hard on a mito body...I just wish they could figure out something to do to combat it causing such stress.

Oh, I know that- I was just trying to explain what happened to my kids during this time too add to your discussion- and the obvious stress it has caused on their bodies. All of mine need far more sleep than the average kid- especially the older two. I would definitely say it is puberty related concerning the 10 year-olds. 10 was definitely a turning point for my older 2.
