Randy My Step sisters daughter had WLS and was a year out and just had plastic surgery done, a month later she was found to have breast cancer (she found the lump). It was removed along with the breast and limp-nods (spelling), she had to have kemo and meds, all the cancer treatment. This was a year ago, she's doing fine, actually she just had her breast done, she had the one with that had cancer with an inplant and the other one put back in place since the weight lose and didn't have an inplant in it and they did a nice job. It was with Kaiser and since she had WLS and cancer they paid for the breast to be done for her. It was hard on her, but she said it probably wasn't any worse than anyone having cancer. I guess it depends how far out the person is with cancer also. I don't know if this helps. Take care. Randy... I am so sorry that you are having to go through such an enormous challenge...at the exact same time you are going through the post-surgery challenge. I was a bit anemic and run down for a while afterwards...so I really hope that you will not have that problem, that you will be filled with energy from your weight loss, and that your weight loss will help you shed some of the toxins that are in your body. You must be pretty scared. Are they going to try to shrink it before they go in and operate? I want you to know that I am praying for you. You have been so brave to take on this life-changing surgery...I know God will give you the same courage to fight this cancer. we are all here to support you...let us know what we can do. God bless you. Robynn pegmo1212
