Guest guest
Hi, I don't post very often so for those that don't know us, I'm mum to (20 months) who has bilateral cf. Unfortunately he has had more plasters than the average bear and it would seem that we may end up with some more as 's left foot (his worst) is now in-toeing as he walks. It is not too bad at the moment and we wondered what other children who are / have been in a similar position have had done. We keep being " threatened " (for want of a better word, and certainly not unkindly so please do not misunderstand) with a tendon transfer for this foot. If he does end up with the transfer (and I am doing my utmost with stretches and wearing of his boots to avoid this as I think surgery should be a last resort)will he have to still wear his boots because of his other cf even though this one is pretty good? Look forward to any replies

Guest guest
- Jake has just a left clubfoot. He did have the ATTT surgery, and our dr told us that he would not need to wear the dbb afterwards. However, I would assume that if they only do surgery on 's left foot, he would need to continue with the shoes afterwards, to maintain the correction in his right foot. Ask your doctor to be sure.
