Guest guest
Makes sense. I had a similar issue around that time also. Point is, thank G-d, it is temporary. But if you do nothing else, make sure you get in your vits and waters!!! Mucho important! And keep trying...I remember tossing so much food around this time, right into the garbage. It is just your body reorienting itself. If it lasts for a long, long time, go see a doc. I found that there are these drinks called VitaZest (www.drinkvitazest.com) that taste really good and come in lots of flavors...I remember living on the pomegranite flavored one!LLLORY@... wrote: Hi guys. I wanted to know if anyone else hasexperienced this. Today is day three for me of notreally eating. For the last few days I have hadlittle appetite. I attempt to eat, and I just can't. The reason? Everything tastes awful. Things I eatfrequently just aren't cutting it for me now. I can'tgag down a protein drink. Tossed it down the sink. Made a chicken leg, pre roasted, I microwaved it. Onebite, threw it away. Decided to make some potato soupand give that a try. It tasted too salty, I threw itout. Made a hardcooked egg...ditto. Trash can. I'msure this will pass, but was curious as to whetheranyone else has experienced this this far out (fourand a half months). How long will it last?? I'mreally dragging today, and I'm guessing it's cuz I'mnot eating. Well, off I go to try the protein shakeagain. Thanks all.Laurie __________________________________ Yahoo! Guest guest
Hmm, interesting, . How long did this last for you? Fortunately, the water and vites aren't a problem. They are going down just fine. I'm sitting here now with my " favorite " protein shake and just taking it reeeeeal slow. It's going ok. Thanks for your reply! Guest guest
I gotta think...I think it was at least a month or so. I remember that I called my surgeon, and he told me to just go slow but that I had to TRY to eat. I called my rabbi as well, because I was really nervous, and he gave me similar advice. It is important to try, but that you must drink...that is SOO important. Drink and vits. He called me everyday to make sure I drank and had taken my vits. Eventually it got to where I wanted to eat, and actually felt a healthy form of apeitite. So have no fear...it is just your body doing as it does. Just stay in touch with your doc!LLLORY@... wrote: Hmm, interesting, . How long did this last foryou? Fortunately, the water and vites aren't aproblem. They are going down just fine.
