Guest guest
I am glad to hear that you feel comfortable and trust Dr. Herzenberg. Now, you can really relax and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy and know that your baby will be well taken care of. Update on older sibblings and our first face to face with dr. Herzeberg Again rachel and i love this support group and all the advise and caring support. after alot of long thoughts and discussions we decided to take our two older boys hunter 9 and luke 6 1/2 to our meet with Dr. H. and even my mother-incame to help. On friday July 8th we all got to see our first lokk at a child with CF and the DBB surprisingly we all did well and the boys were great. hunter 9 stated he wished no baby needed this but that it all wasn't that bad and both he and Luke were ready to help the baby and they wished was delivering tommorow instead of 9/16. As for rachel and I we fealt a great weight lifted from our shoulders. Despite Dr. H's busey schedule he spent a great amount of time with our family preparing us, ansewring questions, giving us stretches to do and made sure we didn't leave until we all fealt comfortable and our baby was scheduled for our first visit and casting. As a Paramedic myself I have not seen such devotion, and caring not too mention a wonderfull bedside manner in a doctor in a long time. Dr. h is one in a million. And he even mentioned our support group as a wonderful resource. As for now we are in a holding pattern, just watching the baby move and kick rachel until 9/16. we will keep everyone posted and keep checking the site for continued advise, support and ideas that will help us with our baby who i can't wait to hold and love. Guest guest
Tim, it sounds like you had a wonderful consultation with Dr. H. It really is important to feel comfortable with the doctor that you are entrusting your child AND to have such strong recommendations for said doctor. Now that the task of finding a doctor that you're comfortable with is complete, you can all breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy the remainder of 's pregnancy! Good luck and keep us posted. Guest guest
I'm glad to hear that it went so well! Dr. Herzenberg sounds fabulous!! We've never met him, but have heard nothing but good things about him! Isn't Hunter a sweetie for saying that he wished no kids had to have a clubfoot and braces! Such empathy! Looking forward to hear of your little one's arrival and treatment progress, Jen & Livie (10-18-01 severe left clubfoot) Update on older sibblings and our first face to face with dr.
