Rose, thanks for the links and info. Now I just have to convince my

Neuro that I need additional meds. He doesn't seem to want to put me

on anything else. He said " Do you want to wait another 6 to 8 months

before Methotrexate or Imuran helps you feel better? " But my response

to that is that I really haven't been feeling better. Any suggestions

on how to approach him to get him to add another med to the mix?

I must have missed your earlier post. Are you in Imuran? How much? Is

it helping you or do you feel real tired? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am only on Pred at this time. My original starts out addressing

Nick. I sent it early this a.m. It is a big long thing...see if you

can locate it...it will tell you almost all there is to know about

me. (It actually probably tells you a bit more than you would want

to know! he he) By the way, I loved your smileys you included in a

message you posted a few days ago. I had to sign up to get them too!

, it doesn't sound like this neurologist is up to date on sarc treatment. Have you considered trying to find someone who is either more knowledgeable or is willing to learn? I don't want to undermine your confidence in your doctor, but this is your life & your health at stake. It's true that some of the other drugs can take awhile to kick in (although Mtx & Imuran certainly aren't the only options), but bouncing you up & down Prednisone really isn't safe or effective.

Have you gone to the FSR website? It's the Foundation for Sarc Research, and they are topnotch. The website is www.stopsarcoidosis.org. Please check it out this weekend. Let me know how else I can help.

Don't you love smiley central. I have lots of favorites. Lind loves

them but can't get them on her puter so I try to put them in once in a

while to make her smile.
