Terri, when I got divorced 12 years ago, the first thing I did was buy myself a recliner (he got the sectional sofa that had a recliner). I shopped around to get just what I wanted, including a longer foot rest, because my feet always hung off (I'm about 5-10). That poor chair has been through the mill, but it still looks pretty good & is still comfortable. I still sleep in it some nights, when my back is hurting. I've had it repaired several times, but it's still cheaper than trying to find another chair I like so much.

,It is funny that the first two posts I read were responses to myquestion. I have been feeling pretty rotten lately and it makes me feelbetter to know there are others in the same boat.It is funny you talk about riding your recliner - I was thinking aboutbuying one for my husband as a suprise, but I realized it I bought oneit would be for me. Pretty selfish huh?Well, thanks for your thoughts.Terri G. Kick back and relax with hot games and cool activities at the Messenger Café. Play now!
