Guest guest
I have been busy the last few days, so I have not been able to respond personally or individually to all who sent good wishes and prayers my way, but please know that I am grateful to you all. After my surgucal biopsy, which required another general anesthesia, I had about three difficult days where I felt sick, had low energy, and pain in the swollen lymph nodes in my neck, with associated difficulty in finding some comfortable positions. Now that I feel much better, I think the sickness was due to two general anesthesias in a period of less than two weeks; ditto the low energy; and the pain was due to the fact that they did more fine needle aspirations of my lymph nodes and examined them pretty thoroughly during the surgical biopsy. Yesterday I walked a mile and a half before attending the post-op support group meeting at South City, so I feel pretty well recovered. My weight loss has been quite rapid - 23 pounds in the first 17 days. Exhilirating and scary at the same time. I am off to see my girlfriend, where I plan to walk her dog for half an hour or so! Enjoy the holiday, all! Randy

Guest guest
Randy You have a great attitude and are working hard at everything you are suppose to do. I believe with all this and all the prayers and thoughts of good health, you will do fine. The journey with cancer and WLS will be hard, but I know in my heart things are going to be fine, I just feel it. Take care.
