Hello all. As always I hope all are well. Ive been reading along, but as many of you know, I went back to work and haven't had a chance to check in. I want to say welcome to all the newcomers, I hope this group is as much of a blessing to all of you as its been to me. I'm happy to say that Ive lost 123lbs. I still cant believe it. I'm wearing a size 26-28, I know it doesn't seem like much, but at the beginning of my journey, I was barely fitting into a size 6x. I have a long way to go, but it doesn't seem as hopeless as before. Unfortunately like always theirs trials and tribulations. Ive been on bed rest for the last week because I caught a cold and since my immune system is still not as strong as Id like it to be, it quickly began to turn into a slight case of pneumonia. Thank God though, I'm doing lots better, and was able to go to church today. Its funny

because before my surgery, that would've knocked me down, but now it seems like I can battle anything that comes my way. Well Ive rambled enough and before I forget I posted some pics so that you guys can see who the chitty chat box is.. Love ya all and hope to talk to you guys soon.. Take care.. OXOXOXOX, in L.A. 9/27/05-469lbs 2/19/06-346lbs 9/27/06-???

Hi ; I'm Turnage and new to the group I have been reading a lot also not really sure what I'm doing. I'm 3 years out but a long way to go I weighed 428 lbs and had surgery on 02/21/03 in San Diego. I have lost 172 lbs and my body went into hibernation about a year ago. I have never gained a lb back and am now on the down side again thanks to finding a good Dr. You have accomplished alot and I think it's great that you are able to fight things off much better than before. Thank you for welcoming us new members to group. May all that you are reaching for become yours. TMICHELLE URIBE wrote: Hello all. As always I hope all are well. Michele, I'm so glad to hear from you - I've been wondering how you

were doing. It's not surprising that your cold turned into pneumonia;

after all, the surgery is a huge stress on your body, even if the end

result will be a healthier life, until you're a year or more out your

resistance is probably going to be lowered. I'm happy to hear that

you're doing so well, though - going from a (barely) 6x down to 26-28

is a tremendous achievement.
