Guest guest
Hi all, I got all your info about heart rate and 02 sats and really appreciate everything you all have said. I'd answer individually but I'm still overwhelmed and now I have the cold that turned into a mess for Asher. Anyhow, I don't know if I told you all - I was so upset I couldn't even think but the local hospital doc did not make much of an effort to contact our mito doc with the result that when we did leave the hospital we left w/o having Korson's recommendations. Thus, I emailed Korson and he wrote me back with the recommendations - 02 monitor, oxygen, etc - all the things my husband and I were thinking about and were discouraged about by the local hospital doc... so we're home without any of those. I took the email to my wonderful pediatrician and cried (tears seem to work well - but I really don't plan to cry!)and he called the cardiologist, the pulmonologist and got us in for a sleep study this SATURDAY - is that amazing?! Now, I've heard from you all before about sleep studies - but can you refresh my mind? I remember something about it being important that they monitor CO2 as well? Is that right? What questions should I ask? I know they will do an EEG, 02 sats, heart rate...... Thanks, Anne
