Guest guest
I do not have a cough assist machine but don't think our ped would think it necessary as when we asked about a suctioner, they didn't think it was something we needed and so we didn't get one. Admittedly we didn't push to get one at the time though. I am mostly concerned about Joey presently as he still has a very deep cough and asthma wheezing quite often even following treatments. I think he may need some steroids to get over the hump. We have a doc appointment for Zipporrah, Joey, and (the other little one) tomorrow morning so hopefully we will get more help if still needing it then. I keep having to fight this bug off and then it keeps coming back over and over again each time I think I am beating it. Several of my other kids have been really struggling with it as well and they have very red eyes (as Zipporrah did) and are just drained. Asenath is still fighting it off but had a small episode on her left side (had to have something didn't we?) and is still pretty exhausted. I hope this leaves the home quickly! We are actually doing amazingly well though and everyone is very cheerful and the twins' transition into our home is going wonderfully, even with the illnesses, so we are all pleased. Keep praying for all the kids though please.
