Guest guest
Just doing my own informal sampling...is ANYONE on this list past the initial 24 months postop? Wonder how you are doing and what is happening. (I know most of you are probably off horseback riding or something, but it would sure be nice to hear from you). Guest guest
I don't know if you are aware of it or not, but their are other DS boards that the longer post op post to. You as a pre op cannot post, but you can read it. A lot of them just don't have the time to read this list anymore. Patti

Had my surgery 2 July '99 in Bowling Green, Ohio with Dr. Hess. Started at 5'8 " 340 and now weigh 135-140. Everything is fine, doing well.. and am just awaiting a tummy tuck and a hernia repair. Life is wonderful. Tana >Just doing my own informal sampling...is ANYONE on this list past the >initial 24 months postop? Guest guest
Congrats, Tana! It's so good to see posts like yours - gives everyone hope that this really does work and is long term! One thing that I've been wondering about, though... why do so many people have hernias after surgery and what exactly is a hernia? Thanks! --- Tana Myers wrote: > ---------- Original Message > ---------------------------------- > > Reply-To: duodenalswitch > Date: Thu, 16 Aug 2001 17:28:07 -0000 > > Hi .. > Had my surgery 2 July '99 in Bowling Green, Ohio > with Dr. Hess.
