Hi everyone,

Information about a scholarship fund for farmworkers was just passed

on to me and I wanted to alert all of you to it. I know no more than

I am sharing here but you can access more information via the website

(address below).

The Migrant MBA Project is the first initiative funded by the Rising

Farmworker Dream Fund (RFDF). The Project will address the Human

Capital needs of the farm working community by helping sons and

daughters of farm workers obtain business degrees. Business graduates

with a farm working background will help provide business leadership

and resources to their community.

The Rising Farmworker Dream Fund (RFDF) is a nonprofit organization

that aims to leverage the power and resources of the business sector

to enable positive social change within the American migrant farm

working community. As a venture philanthropy firm, we seek to invest

our assets – people, money, and other resources – to produce a

positive social return and create sustainable business solutions for

farm workers and their families.

We're a group of business managers, investors, entrepreneurs,

political leaders, educators, social advocates who invest in ventures

that:

**Focus on improving the social conditions of U.S. farm workers

through business initiatives

**Increase access to human, social, and financial capital within the

farm working communities

**Have clear and accountable measures of investment return

Our efforts will position farm workers and their children to achieve

their personal dreams, the American Dream, and help elevate the

status of migrant farmworkers as a whole.
