Is your scale an electronic scale that has 10ths and/or decimal points showing??? How in the world do you know you lost 8/10's of a pound. I know the dr.scales with the sliding counterweight are in 5ths between pounds. Wow....the advances these days Good luck with continued success in the donut experiment. Keep us informed if it continues to work. Colleen - Iowa
Guest guest
Colleen- Yes, it's a digital scale. It's the " Thinner " brand (how funny) and I got it for $60 at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It goes up to 330 pounds and it seems to work very well. -Sherry (Lake Marcel, WA) BPD/DS Feb. 2, 2001 self-pay 5'5 " / 315 pounds / 33 years old Lost 9 pounds in pre-op weight loss efforts Have lost 96 pounds since surgery! Guest guest
Sherry! You got me all smiles over here! Mike couldnt believe it either but it works for him. As long as you are getting enough protein and water and other nutrients, just do as you said.....eat what you want and let the surgery do its thang! Just know that at some point it will stop for a day or two....tinker back and forth and be on its way down again. It does that with me even without the donuts! So, relax my friend....you are doing as expected! Im sorry to hear about the van and the fence...but worse things have happened! Im rejoicing with you on your new discovery! Judie PS I have often wondered if this is part of the secret of the surgery but they dont want us to know it for fear we will go back to our old eating habits at the expense of protein and other foods that are so important to us......what are your thoughts?
