I know this must agrivate her to death. Blessings to you and yours, Horsley Re: Repeating phrases - Ann Ann,I see that wrote you that the kind of repeating your are talkingabout is preserverance. Yes, this is different than echoing. Echoing iswhen the person repeats exactly what you just said back to you. never echoes, but at times of great anxiety he will ask the samething over and over to get comfort from me. Such as when we are on our wayto Mayo and he constantly asks "no poke, mom?" with hope. After answering afew times, I will put it back to him, "what do you think, , you knowthe answer" and then he answers himself. Then it usually stops. There are also times when is quite ill that he feels he cannot get asentence out correctly. Then he will start over instead of just picking upwhere he misspoke and go from there. It looks so excrutiating for him whenthis occurs. My filling in words is not good enough, he wants to say histhoughts himself without help.It seems like many mito kids have these speech problems.Carap.s. It has been windy but somewhat mild here in WI so far. Only a dustingof snow here in between G. Bay and MW. Don't know what is to come, though! But everyone says that the last few years here in WI have gotten muchwindier, so bring along ear protection for sure. Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
