Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a nice long weekend! What do you all think that have gown to Dr. Ponseti. Should I just go ahead and Schedule an appoinment with Dr. Ponseti and call Angel Flights and the Mc House and try to schedule them too. Then call Dr. H and have his records forwarded to Iowa. Or should I wait until I hear back from my peditrician to find out if we have approval to go. I spoke with the peds. today and they said they talked to Aetna about getting our case manager back and think its fine but of course our old case manager is on vacation and that is who we will probably get again. Aetna told the peds. office that they have to go through our case manager (once she has the case again) to get the out-of-network apporval to be billed as in- network...since we really have out-of network coverage ($1000 dedcutible then 70/30 coveage), but we don't want to use the out of network coverage we want them to bill us as in-network. I know that all sounds so confusing!!!! I just don't know if its rude to schedule an appoiment with Dr. P, Mc House, and Angel Flights, then have to cancel if we don't get approval say to the end of the month, etc??? I was going to try to Schedule either at the end of August or very eary September then it would give us time hopefuly to get everything together. Guest guest
I would say DO IT! It's far enough in advace that if you had to cancel, it probably wouldn't be a big deal...but close enough that if you didn't start planning, maybe you wouldn't get the scheduling you want. I doubt there is anyone on this board who would tell you not to! Good luck with the insurance!! Darby > Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a nice long weekend! Guest guest
Hey Michele, I would start working on it now. Angel flights wants at least 5 full business days to find an airplane. So start making calls now, and be persistent in bugging the insurance and pediatrician. they love that! LOL I am still praying for you! > Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a nice long weekend!
