How much notice for angel flights?

I forgot to ask if anyone has actually used Angel Flights how far in

advance did they have to schedule with them. What is the process like

for gaining approval? Has anyone used any other free/discounted

services besides Angel Flights?

I've never used it , but when I was thinking about using them , they asked for a

one week notice. The approval isn't very hard... I can't remember all the

particulars, but the coordinators are very nice... I'd give them a call if I

were you.

Angel Flight has regional offices and I have only used the northeast

one, but they were wonderful. In the northeast they want at least one

week's notice, but would prefer more, although they have scheduled

flights for me with less notice than that. And once we were stranded

at the airport when a pilot got confused about which day we were

flying and they had another plane there within three hours. The more

notice you can give them the easier it is for them to find pilots.
