Guest guest
My father in law is currently undergoinf chemotherapy and my children, 3 and 1 are allowed to be around him as long as they are healthy, which is the same for the adults around him. There is no danger to kids at all. Jenni --- Sinanis wrote: > Hi! > > Quick question. Can babies be around someone who > has cancer and is receiving chemotherapy? Guest guest
Hi, from what I remember when my mom had chemo and radiation we were all able to be around her when she was at home, etc...but when she was in the hospital for the radation treatments, we weren't even allowed to visit her. It's been quite a while I wish I could be of more help. Michele Yoder Collin's story at http://www.geocities.com/chele323232
Guest guest
I have a friend who's Mom is going to have to have radiation treatment. She is supposed to stay away from her grandchildren while being treated. I am sorry, I don't have the specifics, but I believe it is also for a shortwhile after she stops the treatment. She is also not supposed to sleep in the same bed with her husband. Louisa > Hi! > > Quick question. Can babies be around someone who has cancer and is receiving chemotherapy? Guest guest
Thank you to everyone who answered my question! And I hope and pray that everyone you know undergoing treatment is doing better! loulee3412 wrote: I have a friend who's Mom is going to have to have radiation treatment.
