Guest guest
Well , It's going very well. Steve and I have had three dates, and there's no indication of the " third date skids. " We don't know where things are going, but it feels really good, really nice. Yesterday, we spent the day together doing nothing really except passing time together, window shopping, relaxing and cuddling. Here's what I wrote to him in an email this morning: ****** Steve: Yesterday was wonderful. I hope we can do that again soon. I slept well, but there was a space in my bed that needed your warmth. I woke up several times reaching out for you, but all there was to fill the gap in my embrace was a pillow, a poor substitute indeed. No matter where we are or what we're doing, when we're together, the world fades away into a dreamy haze, and I only feel your presence. Hugs, Francisco ***** And his reply: I couldn't agree with you more. Yesterday and into the evening was fabulous. I was so comfortable and warm in your home and bed. It was wonderful snuggling with you. Looking forward to the next snugglefest. -Steve ***** I don't know how this one's gonna turn out, but he could easily be the one. As an aside, I now have TOTAL confirmation that body type and weight has a HUGE genetic component. Steve's body has almost no fat, so all the muscles show through even though he hasn't exercised regularly in a while. He has a tiny waist, and his abdominal muscles are the perfect six-pack without having done any sit-ups. Life is SOOO unfair, but wow, what beautifully masculine abs. Yikes! The way the shadows dance on his muscles in the candle light is amazing. I've done hundreds of thousands of sit-ups, and my abs will never look like that, but I'm OK with that. But the nice thing is that he is sympathetic to my nutritional/exercise needs. He even let me prepare him a total Bariatric dinner—1/3 cup cottage cheese, 2.5 oz tuna (with Smart Balance mayo), 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 oz peanuts, 1/8 cup raisins. And he loved it because it was so nutritious (and tasty! I added spices to make it delicious). Steve eats a bowl of Dreyer's chocolate ice cream every night before bed, and he actually has to work on NOT losing weight. But don't hate him. He's a real sweet heart. Maybe I can teach some things about nutrition (he wants me to teach him that stuff). He doesn't even know the difference between carbohydrate and protein. He certainly can teach me about moving past my fears and embracing joy. Thanks for asking, Francisco > > Francisco, > > I can't blame you at all I'd be the same way here you are trying to > help her out through the process and she sticks her nose in where it > does not belong. Guest guest
Francisco, Sounds like you and Steve may not be ready to pick out china together yet, but maybe you've reached what a friend of mine used to call the " picking out the Chinette " stage! Steve definitely sounds like a good prospect, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and say some prayers. Cathy C.
