1st Ponseti FAB in South Africa!

Just thought I would let everyone know that the 1st shoes will be

coming to South Africa. One of the babies here, Aron, has had a miserable

time with the Markells. I've been trying to help his mother, but nothing

has worked. His feet are definitely corrected, she sees the best Ponseti

doctor here, and they're not atypical. He's obviously just very

uncomfortable in the Markells.

So.she emailed me yesterday for more details on the shoes, I gave

her all the details I had and advised her to phone rather than email.

She told me today that she managed to get hold of Jean, that she is

wonderful and they are making her shoes and will ship them to an address in

the US for her boss to pick up for her when he's there on a business trip!

I'm so excited for her and also can't wait to see them. I've never seen a

pair because when we were in Iowa they were still using Markells.
