Guest guest
Yes... Buy some buffered vitamin C powder and put it into their water. In addition, water with lemon juice is very healthful, good for constipation and also helps to normalize liver PH. Your kids should try some juice as it is a little easier on the system than my other recommendations. I do not think that bananas will help with constipation but fresh cherries will do the trick.... Prunes are pretty fast acting as well. You cannot let them continue with constipation as the amonia will build up in their bodies... very bad for them so youve got to get them going.... Janice [sPAM][ ] Constipation We switched to bean flour and no one is pooping. No one is uncomfortable but my daughter has not pooped in 5 days and that can't be good. Obviously We are weening off that stuff and actually doing no flour for a few days to loosen things up. My kids are not big citrus fans, won't drink juice of any kind and we are doing bananas. Any other ideas? We are on a probiotic.
Guest guest
I am sure you saw the post, she pooped. I will keep buffered C powder in mind for the future. I did put magnesium powder in her water. She refuses to drink any juices and spots the lemon immediately...ahh the fallout of excess fluoride! Bananas are a regulator and I only gave them when she asked...since that is rare (unlike brother) I figured it was worth a shot. Ammonia: hubby was mad at her for something today. He said " Now that she has pooped what other excuse are you going to come up with for this behavior? " First of all, she is a really good kid. She does have her times of impossibility that really have resolved on diet. What he was referring to was something she did today that really was like a trip back in time. I said, " Well, since you asked, since it took 5 days to poop, since the meat you gave her likely caused ammonia buildup and she hasn't gotten it all out yet...my answer is ammonia. She still has to go to time out but ammonia is the likely cause. " He vascilates as to whether we a really are experiencing detox or not. As long as he keeps them on diet he can call it what he likes. At the end of the day he is a good guy, treats them and me well, and is pretty openminded about stuff he once called BS and still does in dark moments. > > Yes...
