Hi everyone well we made it and Dr Ponseti is just as great as everyone

has discribed. Noah has been pretty fussy he has only had the cast a

couple days but each day gets better. The first night I thought I was

going to go nuts. I'm staying at the Mc house, its

wonderful they are so nice here. I took a bus down town yesterday which

was pretty easy and today a volunteer took us to the mall and picked us

up. The mall was really nice with tons of stores and things to do. For

any of you who are thinking of coming down its well worth it. Right

when you get off the plane you go down to baggage claim and behind the

baggage claim is a booth that says shuttle, they will take you to the

Mc house for no charge. Its so easy. Yuuko have you gave

birth yet? I hope I see you, Dr Ponseti thinks I will only need to be

here 2 weeks and doesnt think that Noah needs the tenotomy thing. So

hopefully he doesnt were praying for that. Well take care everyone and

I will write again in a few days! Thanks for all the support I'm so

glad I came. Dr Ponseti assured me that Noah will be running in no time

and will have a normal functional foot. That really made me feel good!

Talk to you soon!

Hi and Noah!

Thank you for letting us know how you're doing!

Our baby girl () was born on August 4 at 6:55pm - she has the

bilateral clubfeet, but we think she's adorable, even those tiny feet!

Our pediatrician has advised us to wait a month before air travel, so

it looks like we may be going in September. It's too bad I won't get

to meet you , but I'm so glad to hear that Noah's treatment may

be done in 2 weeks! That is so exciting! My prayers are with you

and Noah!

Thanks again for the update - it's so reassuring to be able to hear

that it'll be all right from someone who's actually there right now!

And I'm looking forward to the mall shopping too! I may ask you

questions once I can think straight - right now I'm quite sleep

deprived and sore all over!

Best,

Yuuko

to miss you. you will love it here and love Dr Ponseti. I will be

happy to answer and of your questions once you get here. I'm now a

pro at the bus system here! Let me tell you how lucky you are to be

coming when your daughter is young because Noah is well aware that

something is bothering him on his foot. Its been horrible! Well

typing one handed isnt easy. I'm so happy for you! take care get

lots of rest.
