Guest guest
Hi Robyn and Connie, I am also a person with PCOS. I was curious, when you say that you do not have any cysts, how is that? I have them and they come and go. That is what obviously caused my infertility. I have a daughter that is eleven and I was alot slimmer and healthier back then but I had to use Clomid to get pregnant. The first try is all it took. But now I can't get pregnant at all. I am hoping that when I have the surgery and I lose this extra weight, that it will be easier to get pregnant (after about 18 months-post-op). Connie, I also am sorry for your miscarriages, I have been through that a couple of times also and it is difficult to deal with. Yikes. All the Clomid etc... scares me. I'm hoping i can do it "ala natural". But, my hat is off to those of you who do the IVF route. You are really dedicated! Generally, I think once you've had a baby, it's easier to get pregnant the second time...so good luck to you!!! Guest guest
I guess there are different kinds of PCOS. Some women have the "string of pearl" cysts and some don't. I just have the blood sugar problems that causes me not to ovulate like normal. Taking the glucophage has really helped. I know its confusing sorry. I too plan on trying to get pregnant 18m post op..I want at least one more child. By then will be old enough to help me out too! lol I wish you the best luck!
