I agree with you - Dr. Ponsti has never xrayed either of my boys.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way- but what you described in

your post about your doctor making decisions on how long needs

to wear her brace based on x-rays doesn't make sense at all from

a " true Ponseti method standpoint " .

Unless there are some extenuating circumstances, your doctor

shouldn't need to x-ray 's feet at all, especially as young as

she is!

If the feet are fully corrected, the doctor should know just by

examining the feet physically. Once the feet are corrected, the

protocol with the brace wearing is pretty straight forward and has

nothing to do with the position of the bones in the feet per an x-

ray.

Sorry to butt in- but this whole x-ray thing is sounding very

suspicious to me. I would be on my toes about this doctor if I were

you. Just my two cents, I hope I didn't offend you in any way.
