The Texas Department of State Health Services Infectious Disease

Branch publishes the EpiLink Online Bulletin, which aims to provide

public health and healthcare professionals accurate, practical, and

updated information about important public health issues in Texas.

The publication focuses on a different health topic each month and

the December issue will be dedicated to border health topics. We are

looking for original articles and published articles for reprint to

include in the December issue. Articles can include summaries and

reports on health programs/initiatives, case and outbreak

investigations, disease reports, historical articles, guest

editorials, legislative summaries, etc. Other formats and

publication types are also welcome, including resource guides and

links to websites and pages. The articles/contributions will need to

be about local, state, binational or multi-state health programs,

issues, or efforts affecting Texas. For more information about

EpiLink, you may go to www.epilink.org; for requirements for

publication, please go to

http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/idcu/epilink/authors/. Any public or

governmental health program or agency is welcome to submit

contributions. For more information or questions, you may contact us

at: epilink@.... The deadline for submissions is

October 29.
