Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I was picked up this weekend. It was amazing and I never felt so out of control in my life, but it was exhilerating at the same time! My hubby was saying he was sure he could pick me up and I said that I didn't think so. Well he talked me into it and he was able to lift me up, into that hold, the over the threshold hold, and carry me around. It was WONDERFUL! My sister in law took pictures of us posed like that, but for some reason I can't load them onto the album I have. I will have to redo my album I guess? Anyway, I just wanted to share my latest milestone. Well I think that is larger than a milestone, I haven't been carried since Freshman year of high school! 24 years ago? Eeek! Thanks for letting me share! Congrats to all the surgeries coming up! Kay 336/290/165/? Dr Baggs surgery 6/28/05- First day of the rest of my life! Say, what do people do for their 1 year birthday of re-birth anyway?

Guest guest
Congrats and I know the feeling. Isn't it great not just for our self esteem but just knowing that should there be an emegency someone can come in and lift us up out of harms way and we don't have to worry about that. Such a great feeling. Enjoy it all honey. Pam Marsh --- specialkmix2000 wrote: > Hi Everyone. I was picked up this weekend. Guest guest
Kay I forgot to say congradulations on your milestone, keep them all they really help us. I also had one I went looking for a new leather recliner to replace the one I gave my husband and so expensive, the sells man said well you can buy the smaller recliner their not very wide and their alot cheaper, you're such a small lady. My son was with me and he smiled and said don't you feel great? I said yes because this man didn't know me before, but I didn't buy it anyways, it's not just for me to sit in. LOL Milestones are great. Take care. Donnaspecialkmix2000 wrote: Hi Everyone. I was picked up with weekend. Guest guest
Hi Donna! Oh that is wonderful the guy was trying to sell you a tiny chair!he he I love that we look like we never were obese. I have told some people and shown them my before picture and they think it wasn't me. Who else would it be though? I have a new shopping experience as well. I went to Nordy to get some things exchanged. Luckily I keep the tags on everything I buy in case I have to return something before I get a chance to wear it. Well I traded in my XL silk camisoles for size 8 capri demin jeans! OH and I was trying on a different brand line and the gal had to keep going back and bringing me the smaller sizes. That was fun. I also got a couple size M shirts. Weeeee! I did try on some swimsuits and I know for sure that wasn't fun still. All the lose skin was pathetic. OH and I was fitted for a bra, first time ever and man does that make a difference. All the skin that usually hangs over my bra strap in the arm pit area was totally supported. Amazing. Thanks for all your support Donna! We rock! > Hi Everyone. I was picked up with weekend. Guest guest
Kay I went today to get vehicles changed to just my name that I'm keeping so since DMV wasn't to crowded (believe that, it was a first for me), I also asked the lady could I get a new driver lisence because I needed a new picture. She asked to see my old one and said OMG that's you, yes dear you need a new one a cop wouldn't believe this was yours. So I got more done than expected and let feeling good. Right now these milestones are helping me with all that I'm doing and going through. Take care. Guest guest
Thanks for briging that up Donna. When I was in Vegas a few weeks ago, I had to show my DL all over the place. I was really embarrassed a few times because the people checking it made a big deal about how different I looked. So I was thinking it is time to get the driver license updated. You just pay that 12 dollars then and that is it? That is great you had that done! It is nice to be able to put my " real " weight on it too, not the embelished weight. > > Hi Everyone. Guest guest
Actually it was $20 for the new picture on a new lisence. It wasn't time for a new one until 2009 for me, so I just paid it and got it over with. Yes you feel wonderful putting the real weight. You made me laugh because when I weighed 270, I always wrote 245 and still felt bad. Now I can write 138 and feel so proud. Take care. Donnaspecialkmix2000 wrote: Thanks for briging that up Donna.
