Guest guest
hi bonnie, i had three biopsies on my left leg about a month ago. yes depending exactly where it is it can cause more pain and what they have to do to get to it. my incisions are still sore. they should have given some pain killers, like vicodin and take it, i oppose it, but i still took it as dircted, they said that that was the only way to get some type of relief and plan each days activities according to your medication so it works best when you need it the most. what type of dr. did your surgery? don't worry, it takes a while, we just have to bear with it, if you can't work per your dr., then there is temporarily disability through the state you can apply for. let me know how you do and feel. take care, don't give up!!! kenbag45209 wrote: I had a muscle biopsy of my left thigh on December 13. I felt pretty good the first 4 days, but now I am so sore I can barely walk. I have a 4 inch incision. I was off work Thursday through Sunday and went back on Monday and that is when the problems started. When I try to put weight on my leg it hurts so bad that I actually yell. Getting up and down or out of the bed is awful.I called the doctor's office and his nurse told me that I was supposed to stay off my leg and not go to work. She said the biopsy was very deep in my thigh muscle and that's why it hurts so bad. I keep having this pulling sensation, like a muscle spasm. Has anybody who has had a muscle biopsy had these problems? If I had known it was going to be this bad, I would not have had it done. It sure had better show something or I will be really ticked.I appreciate any answers you can give.ThanksBonnie
