Guest guest
Did it take for some of you to get your approval notice? Did they send you a letter or did they call you? I filled all the paperwork out on Feb 13th and still waiting to hear something back. I know I have to be patient but its sooo hard! I just want to get things rolling! Guest guest
Connie- I think i told my doctor in april that i wanted the surgery,he did some paperwork and then i was told to go to a class in sacramento where my doctor of record was and then that class was about a month later in May, and then the end of June i got a letter from south san francisco saying i had been approved for the sugery, then i had to wait till the end of october for the orientation class , started to lose weight then at the end of nov saw a barriatric doctor and was told i had lost enough weight for the surgery and that i could have the surgery in december but for work reasons had to wait until feb to have the surgery, so total time till surgery for me was about 10months good luck ColleenConnie Brenner wrote: Did it take for some of you to get your approval notice? Guest guest
Thanks Colleen. Im just waiting for that darn approval letter! I will feel better once I've gotten that. I shouldn't be worried...I'm more than qualified for the surgery. I guess I am just one of those "wanted it yesterday" type people. Connie Re: How long..
