I am the director of a big student exchange organization. I decided to

tell people about my surgery. Everyone(all women) came up to me with

such warmth and good wishes. I find that when I tell people that I

have made the decision to go ahead, everyone is resigned and

supportive. When I was not sure, everyone had comments and fear to

spread to me. But now that I am at some peace with the idea, everyone

is so kind and so happy for me. I think they have been worried about

me for many years. I have diabetes and I have kind of dropped out of

work in the last 5 years since I have so litle energy. They know this

and are rooting for me. I feel so grateful for their love and good

wishes. And yours. I only have two more pounds to go to qualify for

sugery. I am at Richmond/ Lilka
